better understand

So I thought I had saved my draft from a previous post and be ready to just edit.
Yeah,anyways.

Review of what I have been up to since my last post. This will be short, are you ready? Nothing. I mean I' m still alive and kicking, but just there you know. However, I finished reading a book that took me forever to read- Jane Eyre. When I mean "it took me forever to read", is because I always had the book and never really picked it up. And now that I'm done I'm quite depressed I have nothing to look forward to. Charlotte Bronte is an amazing author, she too like D. Oliver in one of my previous posts is incredibly gifted with words. Bronte, is an inundation of eloquence. I felt like I related to Jane in so many character aspects, I felt like she was a friend who was giving me advice and guiding me along with her heart.
At one point in my reading, I felt so amazed when Jane leaves Mr. Rochester. I couldn't believe the audacity, the strength and courage that overflowed and guided her. And how Jane expresses and hopes that no person ever have to do what she did. I was sad, I had to realize that this story was going to end not the way I pictured it, she did not marry Rochester. Most love stories lead to a beauty/damsel to be saved and loved from a man, we always assume and know that their love is passionate and authentic. Jane Eyre we TRULY KNOW her feelings and thoughts but we are at her side day by day in her discovery of these emotions and especially of love. Jane isn't a beauty and is not a damsel, she carries herself with respect, dignity, she is plain and has a mind of her own that she greatly expresses! So when her day came to truly express her heart, she did so with compassion and partial truth. I say partial truth because of their economic standing and because the reader can clearly see one side because of all the facts given from one party. So to read and almost feel that confession of the heart and have another confession follow was thrilling. She found her match, Jane loved Rochester, and Rochester longed to be hers. It was exciting, the poor girl the plain but intelligent lady won the heart of a man. Love triumphed. Slowly when more truth reveals itself everything falls apart, which is why communication is essential in every relationship. As I began to continue reading, I couldn't believe she fought her love. Yet, at the same time I authentically realized that all true stories have that fateful ending. No love at the end, fantasy is just a dreamworld.I can recall the ending of that chapter, her heart and soul torn. I was in my bed lying awake, wondering if I had ever had feelings like that for anyone else. For minutes, nothing came to mind which lead me into more contemplation of love. How beautiful and painstaking it can be. Most girls, do yearn for a love of honest and truth between their spouse, a prince charming, a knight to save, but sometimes those visions or conditioning yearnings are far from it.
*sigh* I love LOVE STORIES too much. I feel that I'm revealing myself too much!

On another note, Harry Potter was amazing! I was able to witness the movie premiere that day with other fans across the world. I want to watch it again as I think of it. I know, if I were a "true fan" by now I would have watched 3 or 4 times, but no I have not. I wanted to cry at the end because I know this wizard world is coming to an end. Dobie, made a great exit for his part!

Harry Potter series has a beautiful friendship with Hermione and Ron, loyal and loving.
Believe it or not, Harry Potter has given me a visual picture and better understanding of my faith. Yes, it sounds ridiculous, petty, unimaginable and insulting. Let me explain.

I'm Catholic, I'm in love with my faith and Christ. I find my Catholic faith to be rich in heritage and a large family. I don't want to give anyone the chance to question me or vent at me, but let me give my small opinion. OK, three movies have assisted in creating a visual or clearer picture as a whole: Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, and Lord of the Rings. These three as of now have fictional informed me of the great battle. The "battle" I refer to is a universal theme, the battle of GOOD vs. EVIL.
Other than the obvious to grasp an audience's attention of "fights" and "war", there is just like Ron states, "a bigger than you" theme. Let's take a few steps back again, to the battle reference.
The GOOD I refer to is the contemplation of, loyalty, obedience and love. The EVIL would be the deception, pride, and selfishness. Even amongst the three subtopics can be seen as well, for loyalty it could be seen as loyalty to self, remembering who you are and the path of truth; loyalty of friendships; loyalty to the world- which could also be obedience of something bigger than yourself.
For a child, it is quite obvious among the movies who is who and what sides they are on in the GOOD VS. EVIL
Harry Potter vs. Voldermont
Frodo vs. Eye
Aslan vs Witch

It's amazing what a child sees and feels. Yes, feels. There is something deeply rooted with our very selves, our hearts are designed for love so when anything corrupts that it corrupts the whole which is our bodies. And lead to a sickening twist of things- deception of self.
My whole point of the Good vs. Evil topic and subtopics is this theme is universal because we struggle with everyday. Since this battle was first present in the bible, St. Michael and Archangels vs the Fallen Angels. It is known in Revelations chapters 12-14, that Fallen Angels outnumbered the Angels and even then they were defeated and exiled. And with most of these mentioned movies, it is the same. The small good faithful team is always outnumbered even in defense, but the obedience and love for the greater good triumphs. The obedience and love for the greater good always begins with denying of oneself for another, altruistic almost. "There is no greater love than to lay down his lay for his friends."(Jn 15:13).
